Dogs & Funny Hats

For Christmas I received a calendar depicting various breeds of dogs engaged in a variety of activities such as gnawing on a rubber toy, swimming in a pool, playing with a ball and lounging at the beach. But, what seems to be the most popular of the group is the photo of the pug wearing a hat.
Why do we insist on degrading dogs in this manner is beyond me. It's like getting up in the morning an saying to yourself, "I would love to wear a beanie with a propeller but I would look like a fool. I know, I'll make my dog wear one!"
Hey, this pink turtle neck my mother-in-law gave me makes me look like a giant cotton candy ball...Hey, I'll just shrink it and slap it on Rover...he will LOVE IT!"
Yes and Rover also loves not having a doggy door so he can run like hell whenever he sees you approaching with a new article of clothing to put on his sorry canine butt!

OK, I'm done. I have to throw a load of wash in. My dog Jack's bandanna needs cleaned.
