Robots!

One of my favorite subjects to draw and paint are robots. I am mailing out 12 packages today to various art directors and creatives and on the back of each envelope I have adhered a hand drawn robot which can be peeled and stuck to any other surface.
I have drawn these in Sharpie markers and went for that "off register" 3D type of look.
Here are a few. See more robots and their names at  www.altpick.com/markweber

I am available for specialty holiday cards. Give me a call and we can talk!

Back to Basics / New Work

Feels great to get back to my basics working with a limited palette and creating work which has a silkscreen feel quality to it. I am really enjoying working on wooden panels more and more.
Masonite is nice as well but I have not picked any for some time.
I will be painting some large pieces for the galleries and will probably stick to canvas for those
because the deep profile looks great on a wall.

These pieces shown here are in detail as my camera is still not fixed at this point and my scanner could not fit the entire image. I am hoping to have my new camera lens in a day or so and will photograph them in whole at that time.
