Stupid, Lazy Wooden Boy!! / Norway Gallery

Ahhhh...those memorable characters from classic children's literature. So much fun!
I am working on a series of prints and paintings based on these various characters, some
lighthearted, some not-so.
This piece will offered as prints at  Blank Space Gallery located in Oslo, Norway in late December.
The birdy scolds our wooden friend..."Stupid, Lazy Wooden Boy!!"

Jack Frost

It's that time of year when I start thinking of holiday themes and images.
This is a watercolor I did this morning and really like the simplicity of it.

Sketch of the Week

This is an off the cuff doodle done in watercolor. Basically I just start laying down washes and see what happens. No sketch prior and the details are added as I go.
Shown here is the original b&w art as well as a colored version which I did in photoshop.
I like this look...a 1950's children's book vibe.
